August

When Michigan gets very hot.

August is when I finally got baptised. After church we had a big party at Grandma Glenda's house in Battle Creek. All of Mom's side of the family came including here Uncle Mike, Aunt Peggy and cousing Michael and his family. Uncle Matt and Jenny were there too.

One of the first things we did in August was go to a wedding. Mom and Dad's friends Lori and Randy got married in Manchester. I wore this beautiful dress from Grandma Glenda's Auntie Velma and Uncle Bob.

Mom and I are hanging out in my bedroom. These were my favorite beads until we lost them on a shopping trip.

This is the Petlichkoff group picture from my baptism. Dad and I had been sleeping, so we kind of snuck into the side of the picture.

This is me playing in the yard at Grandma's house after church. I was sticking my tounge out a lot then, since I was getting more teeth.

Uncle Matt took me around the yard showing me stuff. My pretty dress was hand made by Aunt Mimi. She is a very good seamstress. Dad says I have Uncle Matt's nose???

I am always happy when we get to Grandma Glenda's house. As you can see, the feeling is mutual.

Here I am hanging out in my swing in my bedroom having some water. I never spent too much time in here, but occasionally I would give Mom a break.

Dad is always putting hats on me. This is one from his friend Joe Nimmo, who like Dad's Dad and most of the other Nimmos, went to Iowa State.
