Sepetember

When Michigan cools off just enough.

September was a good month. I was just starting to tool around the house holding on to mom or dad's hands. I had a couple of teeth so I could eat different foods. I was very good at sitting and I liked to read books.

This is our friend Dave Galle from England. He came in March but I had gotten my first shots and the nurses didn't give me Tylenol, so I was cranky. I was in a much better mood this time. As you can see, Dave likes babies.

Mom and Dad aren't real big U of M football fans, but living 3 blocks from the stadium it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement. Mom dressed me in maize and blue for the home games. You can see the game on the tv.

We went to visit Delaney at her house. This is where I first ate Cheerios. I liked them so much that I've had them about every day since.

In September, Mom was already thinking about the cold weather that was just around the corner. She bought this wild hat to try on but I was growing so fast that it was going to be too small.

Here's another shot at Delaney's house. This could my first Cheerio in Mom's hand. Delaney is fun to play with. She can walk and says that when you get to be one, you don't have to listen to your mom.
